SKULLROCK GAMING / LEGAL
Terms of use
Rules for user accounts and your own content on the Skullrock Gaming fan sites. Last updated: 7 October 2026.
1. Scope and provider
These terms of use apply to the use of the free Skullrock Gaming fan sites with a user account, currently satisfactorybase.com and valheimbase.com. The provider is Marco Foof, Joachim-Friedrich-Straße 25, 10711 Berlin, Germany (see legal notice). Individual sites may have supplementary rules, for example for specific features; these apply in addition.
You can read public content without an account. For reading, only sections 6 to 10 apply accordingly.
2. User account
An account is optional and free of charge. You can register with an email address or through a sign-in provider such as Google or Discord. You may only create an account if you are at least 16 years old or have the consent of your parent or guardian. When you register, a free user agreement on these terms is concluded between you and us.
Please provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details secret. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent you are at fault. If you notice misuse of your account, please let us know immediately. Usernames must not infringe the rights of others or misrepresent your identity.
You can delete your account at any time in the account settings of the respective site. What happens to your data is described in the privacy policy and, where applicable, in the supplement of the respective site.
3. Rules of conduct
Our sites thrive on a friendly community. In particular, you may not:
publish content that is illegal, insulting, threatening, discriminatory, glorifies violence, is pornographic or harmful to minors; infringe the rights of others, such as copyright, trademark or personality rights; publish other people’s personal data without their permission; spread spam, advertising or chain letters; impersonate another person; spread malware, circumvent security measures, or attack or overload the sites, including through automated bulk requests without our consent; or circumvent suspensions by creating new accounts.
4. Your content
Content you publish on our sites, such as posts, comments, plans or images, remains yours. So that we can display it, you grant us a simple, free, worldwide and non-transferable right to store, reproduce, technically adapt (for example format or image size) and make this content publicly available for the operation of the respective site. This right ends when you delete the content or your account; technically necessary copies in backups remain until they expire. Where a site keeps content in anonymised form after deletion (for example so that other people’s replies remain understandable), it describes this in its supplementary information.
You confirm that you hold the necessary rights to your content and that it does not violate these terms or applicable law. You are responsible for your own content.
5. Reports, moderation and suspension
You can report illegal content or violations of these terms using the reporting feature of the respective site or by email to legal@skullrock-gaming.com. We review reports promptly and carefully.
We may hide or remove content that violates these terms or applicable law, and in the event of violations we may warn, temporarily suspend or permanently close accounts. In doing so, we take into account the severity of the violation and your legitimate interests. We will usually inform you of any action taken against your content or account, with a statement of reasons; you can object by email to the address above, and we will then review the decision again.
6. Availability and no warranty
Our fan sites are free services that we run with care in our spare time. There is no entitlement to constant availability or to specific features. We may change, restrict or discontinue features.
We create content such as game values, calculators, planners and maps to the best of our knowledge, but without any warranty as to accuracy, completeness or timeliness. Games change with every update; if in doubt, check important information in the game itself. We accept no warranty for content provided by other users.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. In the case of slight negligence, we are only liable for breach of an essential contractual obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes proper use possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely; in this case, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of agreement. Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law. These rules also apply to our vicarious agents.
8. Fan project, trademarks and game content
Our sites are unofficial fan projects. They are not affiliated with the developers or publishers of the respective games and are neither endorsed nor authorised by them. Game names, trademarks, logos and game content belong to their respective owners. Details are given in the legal notice.
9. Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms, for example when features, the legal situation or our services change. We will inform you of material changes in good time in advance, for example by email or on the respective site. If you do not agree with a change, you can delete your account before it takes effect. We may end the service or a user agreement with reasonable notice, or immediately for good cause.
10. Applicable law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence remains unaffected. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
